Promotion of Plant Proteins by Gender: Identifying Beliefs Associated with Intention

Scientific poster created by Amélie Loiselle, PhD student under the supervision of Ariane Bélanger-Gravel and the co-supervision of Sophie Desroches.

This study examines the beliefs that influence the intention to consume plant-based protein foods among Quebec adults. The results show that key beliefs—particularly those related to taste, environmental or nutritional benefits, and perceptions of eating habits—vary by gender. These differences help guide the development of tailored promotional messages for targeted audiences.
