Research
Clinical studies

At INAF, our mission is to enhance people's health through improved nutrition. To accomplish this, we conduct diverse clinical studies in nutrition and engage in research projects that advance our understanding of the relationships between food and health.

What is a
clinical study?

Clinical studies aim to investigate how food, food constituents, or dietary patterns can impact the development or prevention of various health issues. These issues may include cardiovascular diseases, obesity, diabetes, gastrointestinal and immune disorders, cognitive decline, and other conditions, and can be associated with aging or not.

Contributing to research
has several benefits

The advantages of participating in a nutrition clinical study typically include:

  • Personalized dietary assessment and nutrition advice from a nutritionist.
  • Involvement in group workshops or individual meetings facilitated by healthcare professionals.
  • Free supply of dietary supplements, food items, or complete meals (in certain studies).
  • Evaluation of health status and receipt of a health report at the end of the study.
  • Financial compensation (in certain studies).
  • Access to medical referral if needed.

Participating in a clinical study not only enriches your knowledge but also makes a significant contribution to the advancement of research in the field of human nutrition!
