Associations between dietary patterns and cognitive performance in an aging population
Scientific poster created by Catherine Bigras, PhD student under the supervision of Jean-Philippe Drouin-Chartier.
The rising prevalence of neurocognitive disorders highlights the importance of identifying modifiable factors such as diet. This study compares several dietary patterns and reveals distinct associations with cognitive health. Certain trends, particularly those related to the MIND diet and other healthy eating patterns, stand out. These findings provide insights into strategies that may help protect cognition as we age.
