Dr. Monique Lacroix’s research focuses on the development of nanocomposite polymers (encapsulation systems and films), as well as the development of technologies for pathogen control.
Her work also includes the characterization of natural antimicrobial agents and novel lactic acid bacteria, as well as the study of the biological properties of polyphenols and probiotics. Additional areas of research include bacterial radioresistance and radiosensitization.
