Expertises

Dr. Marie-Claude Vohl’s research program focuses on identifying genes influencing risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. Her team is also interested in gene–diet interactions, particularly the impact of genetic variations on metabolic profiles in response to fat intake.

The results of this work will facilitate the discovery of genes involved in the development of metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular diseases and will improve the understanding of their interactions with nutritional and environmental factors.
