Dr. Charles Ramassamy’s research interests focus on the study of the toxic effects of free radicals and oxidative stress in the central nervous system and in neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease). His work also examines the neuroprotective effects of antioxidants and dietary phenolic compounds.
