Expertises

Perinatal Nutrition – Prof. Morisset has expertise in perinatal nutrition and conducts observational studies as well as randomized clinical trials to promote healthy eating before and during pregnancy. The objective of her research is to encourage appropriate nutrient intake and healthy dietary habits among this population. Her work also aims to reduce pregnancy complications, such as glucose intolerance and gestational diabetes, and to strengthen current nutritional recommendations for both normal and at-risk pregnancies.

Institutional Food Services – Prof. Morisset also has expertise in food service management. She is interested in the quality of institutional food offerings, particularly in healthcare settings. More specifically, her work focuses on the development and implementation of a tool to measure and monitor the quality of food provided to residents and patients in healthcare institutions across the province of Quebec.
