Symposium ANTIMIC 2026


Now is the time to register for ANTIMIC 2026, the international symposium dedicated to presenting the latest knowledge on emerging alternatives to antibiotics in the context of human and animal health, food biopreservation, and biocontrol.

This 5th edition will highlight the latest advances addressing the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance through a One Health perspective, with particular emphasis on the integration of omics data and artificial intelligence.

Program Overview

Over four days, the symposium will offer high-quality knowledge exchange and networking opportunities through a variety of dedicated sessions.
Five key themes will be addressed:

  1. Innovative tools for screening and prediction
  2. Microbiome engineering
  3. Discovery and design of new antimicrobials
  4. Antibiotic resistance and new alternatives
  5. Challenges and issues related to climate change

Call for Abstracts

The call for abstracts is now open!
Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers whose work relates—directly or indirectly—to the symposium themes are invited to submit a proposal for:

  • an oral presentation, or
  • a poster presentation.
