Our student members excel in various scholarship competitions

Many prizewinners have received scholarships from a variety of funding institutions. Congratulations to all!

  • Amélie Loiselle: FLSH-UL Doctoral Award for Excellence in Public Communication – Ariane Gravel-Bélanger’s team
  • Alice Perrault-Jolicoeur: PhD student, Canadian Society of Microbiologists (CSM) Ambassador Award 2024 – Sylvain Moineau’s team

FRQ scholarships

  • Marie Cyrenne-Dussault: FRQ-S doctoral scholarship for professional degree holders – Jean-Philippe Drouin-Chartier team
  • Annie Vézina: PhD student, FRQ-S master’s training bursary for holders of a professional diploma – Marie-Ève Labonté’s team
  • Laurence Pelletier: FRQS master’s scholarship and another CIHR master’s scholarship – Vicky Drapeau’s team
  • Florence Dubois-Laurin: master’s student, recipient of an FRQ-NT master’s scholarship for 2024-2025 – Alain Doyen’s team
  • Louis-Philippe Moreau: FRQNT scholarship for a college research internship. Moreau will spend the next 15 weeks at TransBIOtech, under the supervision of INAF college researchers Marie-Eve Janelle and Yvan Boutin. Among other things, he will be participating in the development and characterization of midbrain organoids for the study of Parkinson’s disease.

  • Clémence Desjardins: CIHR Doctoral Research Award – Jean-Philippe Drouin-Chartier’s team
  • Juliette Lemay: CIHR Master’s Award – Vicky Drapeau’s team
  • Lesly Joyce: CIHR Master’s Scholarship – Vicky Drapeau’s team

NSERC scholarships

  • Zacharie Morneau: currently a master’s student in biochemistry, has been awarded an NSERC Doctoral Scholarship – Sylvain Moineau’s team.
  • Carlee Morency: doctoral student in microbiology, also receives an NSERC scholarship – Sylvain Moineau’s team
