Call for abstracts – INAF Student Symposium
As a reminder, the fifth edition will be held on February 19 and 20, 2025, in the Hydro-Québec hall of Université Laval's Alphone-Desjardins pavilion.
Students,
The call for abstracts for the INAF Student Symposium is now open.
New this year: you have the opportunity to present your work at two separate events:
For the science popularization competition, during the 5 à 7 on February 19
For a scientific presentation (oral or poster), on February 20.
You can submit an abstract for both activities. Two independent student competitions will reward the best presentations in each category!
Registration for the INAF Student Symposium opens on Monday, December 2.

You’ll find all the information you need to submit your abstracts at website of Symposium.
Your scientific abstract, of a maximum length of 300 words, should be submitted via the Fourwaves platform. You have until January 10, 2025 (inclusive) to send us your proposal.

📢 Science popularization contest (February 19, during 5 à 7)
The goal here is to be clear, concise and captivating! Students must present their research in just 300 seconds! To participate, you’ll need a 75-word abstract and a short biography. The deadline for applications is January 10, 2025 (inclusive).
