Expertises
Dr. Seddik Khalloufi’s areas of expertise include the optimization, modelling, and mathematical simulation of industrial processes; the activation of ingredients with high functional potential; and the exploration of the functional properties of indigenous Canadian fruits. His work also focuses on the valorization of agri-food by-products, open innovation and industry collaboration, as well as process design and industrialization. Additional areas of interest include clean-label solutions, dietary fibers, proteins, and alternatives to saturated fats.
