His visit is part of an international mission taking place in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Biography:
Eric Haubruge is a Full Professor at the University of Liège, with a PhD in Agronomic Sciences and Biological Engineering. A recognized expert in his field, he is the author or co-author of more than 300 scientific publications and has supervised numerous master’s theses and doctoral dissertations. His career combines academic excellence, high-level research, and a strong commitment to innovation. Former Vice-Rector and First Vice-Rector of ULiège, he played a major role in the strategic development of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, notably through the creation of the TERRA Research Centre (www.terra.uliege.be). Deeply involved in research valorization and regional development, he is also the co-founder of several spin-offs (www.purver.com, www.drinksowood.com) and of the Smart Gastronomy Lab (www.smartgastronomy.be), the first living lab in Wallonia.
