Scientific Symposium of the Biofood Cluster: co‑building, through science, sustainable and resilient food systems
15 June 2026
On November 12, 2026, nearly 300 key stakeholders from the research community, the agri-food industry, government, and civil society will be invited to take part in this collective initiative. They will receive a personalized invitation to reflect on concrete, structuring, and sustainable courses of action. These discussions will be grounded in scientific research to foster the emergence of impactful solutions.
This represents a strategic opportunity to transform research and innovation into tangible actions in support of Québec’s food future.
With funding from the Fonds de recherche du Québec, the Biofood Cluster, powered by INAF, will co-organize these symposium sessions with the Institute and CIRANO through various moments of exchange and collaboration.
Policymakers, members of the research community, as well as representatives from industry and civil society will receive an invitation in the coming weeks. They will have the opportunity to actively contribute to shaping the food systems of tomorrow.
This event fully reflects the mission of the Biofood Cluster and INAF: to act as catalysts, mobilize strategic levers in research and innovation, and contribute to the sustainable, equitable, and resilient transformation of Québec’s food systems.
