Dr. Mélanie Plourde’s research interests combine omega-3 fatty acids, aging, and the impact of genetic polymorphisms on the risk of cognitive decline. She also studies gene–diet interactions in aging. Her research topics include child cognitive development, neurodegenerative diseases, metabolism, brain metabolism, nutrition, and aging.
