Dr. Laurier Turgeon conducts research on ethnological heritage and the economic and social history of Francophones in North America. His interests include tangible and intangible heritage, sustainable development, digital technologies in heritage preservation and promotion, food practices, maritime history, and intercultural exchanges in the colonial and postcolonial societies of French America.
