Anne-Sophie Ouellette is a psychologist who completed her Ph.D. in Psychology (research and intervention profile) at Université Laval. She is a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ). She specializes in the assessment and treatment of problematic eating behaviors that may lead to obesity, as well as in supporting candidates for bariatric surgery. She works with an adult clientele, both individually and in group settings.
She primarily practices from a psychodynamic approach while integrating elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy when needed. Drawing on her experience in both research and clinical practice, Anne-Sophie also gives conferences, mainly on topics related to food addiction and bariatric surgery.
In addition, Anne-Sophie is also a yoga instructor. She completed a 200-hour training in Hatha yoga and a 30-hour training in Yin yoga, two disciplines she teaches through group classes at CEPIA.
