INAF Board appointments
03 June 2024
Nous saluons les nominations de deux nouveaux membres au Conseil de l'INAF et remercions chaleureusement les membres dont le mandat se termine.
We are extremely proud to announce the appointment of Marie-Noëlle Cano and Romain Canuel to the INAF Board of Directors. As INAF’s primary governing body, the Council is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Institute and supporting its development. Their appointments were ratified by Université Laval’s Executive Committee for a 3-year term.
Ms. Cano is founder and president of Cano Intelligence Collective inc. A specialist in communications strategies, Ms. Cano also heads Amélioration Alimentaire Québec, which aims to support the nutritional improvement of Quebec’s food supply.
Mr. Canuel is a doctoral student at Université Laval’s Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, working with Laurent Bazinet, a research member of the Institute.
The entire INAF management team congratulates these two new Board members on their appointment. We would also like to take this opportunity to warmly thank Mr. Daniel Coderre, former CEO of Génome Québec, and Mr. Guillaume Morin, doctoral student in Sylvie Turgeon’s team, for their immense contribution during their respective terms on the Board.
