Expertises
The goal of Dr. Sylvain Moineau’s research is to deepen our understanding of phage biology. He takes an integrative approach that combines data from genomics, proteomics, and other fields to better understand the interactions between phages and bacteria. He seeks to develop new tools to eliminate bacteriophages in dairy fermentation and to use them as antibacterials in public health and across a wide range of sectors. Sylvain Moineau’s research will greatly contribute to facilitating the use of bacteriophages and reducing their harmful effects.
