Expertises
Dr. Alexandre Lebel has developed expertise in spatial and multilevel modeling of population health phenomena, particularly regarding the impact of living environments on lifestyle habits and obesity.
His research interests focus primarily on developing methods to improve the measurement of physical and social environments in order to better understand the relationships between people’s living contexts, their lifestyle habits, and their health status. His strong interest in working directly with land use planning stakeholders has led to the development of interdisciplinary expertise in knowledge sharing and application, including health impact assessment and the study of food environments.
