{"id":11667,"date":"2023-03-22T19:32:21","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T23:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inaf.ulaval.ca\/?p=11667"},"modified":"2023-03-24T11:51:34","modified_gmt":"2023-03-24T15:51:34","slug":"projet-innovalgue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.inaf.ulaval.ca\/en\/actualites\/projet-innovalgue\/","title":{"rendered":"Projet Innovalgue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Le projet Innovalgue vise \u00e0 faire avancer les connaissances sur les algues du Qu\u00e9bec et sur leur potentiel de valorisation dans les secteurs de la nutrition, de la sant\u00e9 et des cosm\u00e9tiques. Afin de r\u00e9unir les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9tudier cette biomasse encore m\u00e9connue, un consortium de chercheurs a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur pied et qui regroupe des \u00e9quipes de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Laval, du Centre de recherche sur les biotechnologies marines (CRBM) et des centres coll\u00e9giaux de transfert de technologie Merinov, Kemitek et TransBiotech.<\/p>\n<p>Merinov et Kemitek se pencheront sur les technologies \u00ab\u00a0vertes\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019extraction de compos\u00e9s bioactifs des algues, avec notamment l\u2019utilisation d\u2019enzymes sp\u00e9cifiques, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es par le CNRS. Les \u00e9quipes de \u00a0Lucie Beaulieu et Yves Desjardins \u00e9valueront le potentiel pr\u00e9biotique de ces extraits sur le microbiote intestinal. TransBiotech \u00e9tudiera leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 induire l\u2019expression d\u2019enzymes protectrices de la peau, tandis que le CRBM explorera leurs effets cicatrisants et d\u00e9sinfectants. En amont, des travaux viseront aussi \u00e0 cartographier la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique des esp\u00e8ces \u00e9tudi\u00e9es et \u00e0 mettre en culture celles qui sont moins abondantes et dont la cueillette pourrait affecter les stocks sauvages disponibles.<\/p>\n<p>Ce projet ambitieux, coordonn\u00e9 par Merinov sous le leadership de Laurent Girault, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un soutien financier de plus de 1,6 M $ de P\u00eaches et Oc\u00e9ans Canada, du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Agriculture, des P\u00eacheries et de l\u2019Alimentation du Qu\u00e9bec (MAPAQ), ainsi que du FRQNT. Il r\u00e9unit trois institutions membres de l\u2019INAF et un r\u00e9seau de dix partenaires industriels. Son \u00e9laboration a b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un soutien financier de 7 500 $ de l\u2019INAF gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa subvention \u00abRegroupement strat\u00e9gique\u00bb.
