Biofood Hub Webinar: Communication Strategies in the Plant-Based Meat Market

In 2019, plant-based meat was one of the most popular products in both food and financial markets. Fast-food chains were facing shortages due to strong consumer demand, while the stock of publicly traded company Beyond Meat surged by 163% on its first day of trading, marking one of the most successful initial public offerings in recent years.

The Biofood Hub, powered by the Institute of Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF) and supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), aims to foster innovation and collaboration in the biofood sector. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the Hub supports the development of sustainable and resilient food systems by mobilizing innovative solutions across seven priority areas.
