For the past ten years, the annual award Mérite annuel en nutrition – Young professional category,  offered by the Dairy Farmers of Canada, has recognized a professional member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec (OPDQ). Doctoral student Hubert Cormier, supervised by INAF researcher Marie-Claude Vohl, was recognized for his skill, involvement, leadership and professionalism in the exercise of the profession of dietitian/nutritionist, across all fields of practice.

His candidacy stood out from the rest due to his young age and the many projects he has completed, in addition to his authenticity and the depth of his insights. Hubert is specifically interested in nutrigenomics and has distinguished himself numerous times through awards that have recognized his qualities as a communicator. He has authored a number of scientific publications in addition to books intended for the general public. Hubert is also very active on his blog.
Congratulations Hubert!
