Alina Gerzhova Recognized for Outstanding Academic Performance at the Doctoral Level

FSAA student among those selected by the FSEP for the 2016 Tableau d’honneur

Alina Gerzhova, a doctoral student in the Department of Food Sciences, has been selected for the 2016 Tableau d’honneur by the FSEP (Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies) due to the exceptional quality of her academic record and the excellence of her work.

The jury members awarded her three “excellent” mentions and one “honourable” mention for her thesis. Her research project, which she completed under the supervision of Mohammed Aider (FSAA) and Martin Mondor (AAFC)—both INAF members—focuses on the extraction of canola proteins by electro-activated aqueous solutions, the optimization of extraction conditions and the study of their techno-functional properties.
